Sanctuary Groups

Sanctuary groups help build relationships through the intimacy of discussion, prayer time, and in some cases service projects.  In order to foster deeper, meaningful relationship building, the Sanctuary groups are intentionally kept small; generally with less than a dozen people.  The optimal group size is 6 to 8 people.

 

The groups are quite varied, and differ in their leadership, focus, time and place of meeting, and openness to new members.  They also come into existence and disappear according to the needs of the group members.  We hope this web site will be a good resource for helping you keep track of what is happening with our various Sanctuary groups.  Our plan is to list them on this page, and link you to a page of information on each active group, giving the name of current leadership,  their contact info, place and time of meeting, and at least a thumbnail about the type of group they are.  Because these are dynamic groups, users of this website are invited to add comments to these pages that announce unexpected changes.

Wine and Spirit: a weekly trip to "The Wine Cellar" for a discussion of the book of Proverbs

  

Sanctuary Prayer Group:  a monthly gathering on the second tuesday of the month to pray for the prayers requests we've received over the last month.
